Demonte Colony 2
Demonte Colony 2, also known and marketed as Demonte Colony 2: Vengeance of the Unholy, is an upcoming Tamil-language horror film directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, who co-wrote it with Venkatesh and Rajavel. Produced by Vijay Subaramaniam and RC Rajkumar under Gnanamuthu Pattarai and Wild Nights Entertainment. The film is a sequel to Demonte Colony (2015). Both films star Arulnithi in the lead roles. This film also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles alongside Antii Jaaskielainen, Tsering Dorjee and Arunpandian and more in the supporting roles.[1]

Production
On November 2022, the team announced a sequel for Demonte Colony (2015) was going to be made by the same director R. Ajay Gnanamuthu and the same lead role Arulnithi and that the shooting had started.[3] On January 2023, the team released a 2-minute special video announcing the cast and crew.[4] Arulnithi had wrapped up shooting his portions by 18 May.[5] The whole film shooting wrapped up by 28 June.[6] On 8 July, the team released a behind-the-scenes video also announcing the film releases in September 2023.[7] The film is both a sequel and prequel to its predecessor, taking place before and after that film.[8]
Music
The soundtrack and background scores for the film is composed by Sam C. S. in his fourth collaboration with Arulnithi after Iravukku Aayiram Kangal (2018), K-13 (2019), Thiruvin Kural (2023) and first with Ajay.[9]
Release
Demonte Colony 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release in September 2023.[10]
