Jangir (rajasthan) has come from the saptarshis (the seven rishis), Angiras = jangir, which are predominantly in Rajasthan and due to bold accent usage of haryana jangra is used. This is a Brahmin clan. The usage of word jangir/jangra has nothing to do with carpentry. similarly, suthar and badhai are altogether different castes.
