Zahid Shafi Mir
Zahid Shafi Mir[1] (born 18 November 1992) is an Indian former footballer, currently he is the head coach of Sudeva Delhi FC's U-21 team. He is the former head coach of Real Kashmir's I-league reserves and SFA (now J&K Sports Council Football Academy) Srinagar.[2][3]

Early lifeEdit
Mir was born at Kashmir in 1992.
Coaching careerEdit
Mir is a former professional footballer who was responsible for leading a 5-player Indian team to Norway for SSG (Small Sided Games) in 2016.[4] During their tour to Norway, they played seven matches with different countries including Netherlands, Mexico and Denmark. Later, acquiring a coaching license from AIFF (All India Football Federation) under 'D' category, he founded his own academy named Etihad Football Academy, where almost 150 boys are trained these days.[5][6]
By the end of 2017, Zahid acquired a 'C' license from AIFF and chose to become a full-time coach and was hired by SFA (state football academy) Srinagar as a youth coach where he led their I-league team to Kolkata.[7]
Later, he was signed by Real Kashmir FC as a head coach for their U15 and got his hands on U18 the same year and then was promoted to head coach of their I-league reserves.[8]
His extraordinary performance with professional teams caught the eyes of some of the top rated clubs of the country like Sudeva Delhi FC who hired Zahid to coach their U18 team. Later, he was promoted as Head coach of their U21 team and is currently coaching them.[9]
Zahid has also been a league operator of AIFF's Golden Baby League held in September 2020 and is also the general secretary of DFA(District Football Association) Pampore.[10]
