Saroj Kumari Piploda

Saroj Kumari Piploda is an Indian volleyball player. She is part of the Indian women's national volleyball team.[1][2][3] She was also a part of India's women's national under-19 volleyball team.[4][5]

Early life

Saroj was born in Chomu Purohitan, Khatoo, Rajasthan.[4]

Career

Saroj has five times served as the Rajasthan team's captain and has 15 times as the state's representative at the national level.[1][2] In December 2014, She won a gold medal in the first South Asian Women's Volleyball Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal.[6][7] She was also a brand ambassador for the "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" campaign in the Sikar district.[2]
