Template:MI Jambu Lochan was a Hindu kshatriya of the solar lineage of Suryavanshi belongs to Sialkot Sangala after whom the Indian city of Jammu is believed to have been named. Historically the area of jammu comes under Punjab Himalayas. According to tradition, he is the earliest known Khatriya Suryavanshi king.[1] He had another brother named Bahu Lochan. The fort of Bahu present in Jammu on the side of Tawi river was attributed to him.
