Dr. Omkar Prasad Baidya (born December 3, 1984)is an Indian physician, author, and associate professor of physiology at ESIC-PGIMSR and ESI Medical College, Joka, Kolkata, India.[1] He has published various books on moral philosophy, world peace, universal ethics, and morality. Baidya has been recognized with numerous awards and honors for his contributions to the field of moral philosophy.[2][3][4][5]

Early life and career

Born in 1984 in Agartala, Tripura, Baidya completed his hometown schooling at Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School before pursuing his passion for medicine. He received his MBBS degree from the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences, Imphal, Manipur, in 2009 and his MD degree from the same institute in 2012. He completed the program and was awarded his Ph.D. from King Georges Medical University, Lucknow, in 2019.[6][7][8][9]
