Soumita Saha(born July 17, 1993) is an Indian Vocalist and Painter. Soumita Saha made her debut in international music holding hand of EDM. Her EDM number Ishq brought her success. [1][2] She is loved for her versatility and her experimental projects on Rabindra Sangeet. [3]Her Indo-French collaboration on Rabindra Sangeet created a stir in music industry . [4]
Early life & educationEdit
Soumita was born in a Kolkata in West Bengal in India. She completed her degree in Architecture from the University of Delhi.[5][6]She started her musical journey at an early age, her parents happen to be her first gurus.Soumita is a trained painter her, her art work were exhibited at Portland[7]and Venezuela respectively
Musical JourneyEdit
Soumita's musical journey started with Ishq followed by a few playback. Her experimental work on Tagore Music are regarded as her biggest contribution to the field. She collaborated with French music producer Greg Sauzet for her Musical Project O Jey Manena Mana[8][9] The Indo-French collaboration took place once more on Tagore's Birth Anniversary with Aae Tobe Sohochori.
Both the projects were officially selected for UK's Lift Off Filmmaker Session Film festival 2023.[10][11]

Soumita Saha is a trained painter her paintings Conscience of India and Bharat Mata were exhibited at Portland and Venezuela respectively. Soumita's audience appreciates how she blends her crafts most of her music video's consist of glimpse from the Artist painting a relevant thing. [12] She introduced this Style with her music video ' Vandemataram Mantra Gaan ' . Soumita represented India on Prestigious Film festival in UK with Vandemataram. [13]
