Kimveka is the wife of Babruvahana, prince of Manipura Kingdom and the son of Arjuna and his wife Chitrāngadā. She is the princess of Avanti Kingdom and the daughter of King Advasena. When Kimveka and Babruvahana met each other they fell in love but to break their love, Duryodhana asked his younger brother Dushasana to kidnap Kimveka from the Kingdom of Avanti and bring her to Hastinapura to marry her. Kimveka however writes a letter to Babruvahana and as so he kidnapped her. When Babruvahana showed his future daughter in law, Kimveka, Arjuna got very happy and fixed their marriage.

According to legend, of Ved Vyasa, she is mentioned unnamed in some of the epics of Mahabharata. Basically, Babruvahana and Kimveka, met like Arjuna and Subhadra for the first time. Kimveka keeps on dreaming about him and finally Babruvahana kidnaps her, rescuing her from the Kauravas.Arjuna happily fixes their marriage with happiness.
