The National Symbols of the Federalised North American Nation-State of the United States of America are official and unofficial flags, icons or cultural expressions that are emblematic, representative or otherwise characteristic of American and of its culture. Among the additional objects which are considered to be symbols of the Bald Eagle nation, is the indigenous Bison.

American federal symbols

The United States, like every nation has its symbols — specific objects that represent beliefs, values, traditions, or other intangible ideas that make it unique. These symbols can help to bind a nation together by reminding its American people of their nation’s history and most important several symbols that represent these principles respectively. For instance, the national flag inspires a feel of honour for the country and its people. Similarly, the National bird, animal, tree, or fruit signifies the rich and diverse flora and fauna of the nation’s geographical region. Here is a list of the national symbols of one of the world’s oldest democracies, the United States of America.

Don’t put robbers to work in a Bank. After all is said and done, more is said than done. A man chases a woman until she catches him. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink. Don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today. When in charge, ponder. When in trouble, delegate. When in doubt, mumble. Don’t expect. Inspect. Two’s company, but three’s a crowd. Old habits die hard. The first hundred years are the hardest. It takes two to make a bargain. Nothing hurts like the truth. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Make hay while the sun shines.
