Bengali poet Fakir Lalon Shah: Oral poetry and tradition in the social context of contemporary Bangladesh is a book written by M Shahinoor Rahman.[1][2] He wrote the book by researching the thoughts, consciousness and beliefs of Mahatma Lalan Sai. The book is an important book on the philosophy of Lalon Shah, which is included in the syllabus of the University of Bangladesh.[3]

Lalan Sai brought the torch of light to the world against the turmoil, chaos, all these things are discussed in this book. The book discusses in detail the differences in Lalan's religious beliefs. Lalan was indifferent to traditional religion in real life as well.[4]
