Lainingthou Nongpok Ningthou (Meitei: ꯂꯥꯢꯅꯤꯡꯊꯧ ꯅꯣꯡꯄꯣꯛ ꯅꯤꯡꯊꯧ) is a Meitei God worshipped by the Meitei people of Manipur. In ancient Meitei pantheon, he's the Lord of Divine Energy and the Supreme Being. Legend says that Nongpok Ningthou and goddess Panthoibi got united in the Nongmaiching Hills, which is later known as Lai Haraoba.[4]

He is the highest divinity in the Umang Lais. The term "Nongpok Ningthou" means "Sovereign of the East" or "King of the East".[5][6]

Nongpok Ningthou is also equivalent to Hindu deity Shiva.[7]
