Shivam Birk (Born on 6 September 1998) is an Punjabi lyricist associated with Punjabi music industry known for popular songs like Teri Guffa Kol Ghar, Italy [1]. He has written lyrics for many Punjabi singers. He is born in Village Birk near Phagwara, Punjab[2].
Career
He started his career in 2018 by composing lyrics of a devotional song – ‘Mera Baba Balak Nath’ in the year 2018 which was sung by Singer Mani Virk.[3] He has worked on 8 Punjabi Devotional songs as a writer. His songs include – ‘Bullet Bhagtan Da’, ‘Murli Kanha Ki Pyari’, ‘Tera Kisne Kiya Singhar Jogiya’,[4] ‘Nava Saal Jogi Nal’, ‘Nachlo Bhagto Nachlo’, ‘Tera Guffa Kol Ghar’, 'Zindagi Di Door', as Producer and Lyricist. He is Lyricist of ‘Mera Baba Balak Nath',[5] and is Producer of songs like – ‘Marjani’, ‘Boliyan’ ,‘Babbu Maan’, ‘Lockdown (Corona Song)’ , ‘Jogi Hoya Diyal’ , ‘Italy’ , ‘LG De Rond’ and 'Sidh Nath Da Mandir'[6]
Personal Life
Shivam Birk is an actor and a lyricist who has written lyrics of many Punjabi songs.[7] He is owner and producer of JBD Production. Born in a village Birk near Phagwara, he always liked to write lyrics and aspired to be a lyricist in the music industry. He was inspired by Happy Raikoti[8]
