Shri Ambaji Temple is a sacred place in Hindu religion .
Location
The temple is located at a height of 3664 feet on the top of the Girnar Parvat called Ambika Shikhar. 1117 steps lead to the temple, where an imposing statue of the Devi can be revered.
Transportation
The nearest railway station is Junagadh on the Rajkot-Junagarh-Verawal line. 5 km from the station, the Girnar Gate is located, from here the climb up to the hill starts. There are several places for stay near Girnar Gate, Hotels are available in Junagarh for stay.
