Pirzada Abbas Siddiqui is an Indian cleric and the head of Muslim shrine Furfura Sharif.[1] Siddiqui is the founder of Furfura Sharif Ahale Sunnatul Jamat and formed Indian Secular Front in 21 January 2021.[2] [3] He is the scion of the Siddiqui family, which is the custodian of the famous Furfura Sharif shrine.[4]

Controversies

Siddiqui's video has been edited by infamous BJP it cell, which has been criticized for spreading misinformation and making hate speech specially against muslims. It has been infamous for its fake edited video making and disinformation campaign. BJP it cell shared a fake edited video where Abbas can be seen calling for 'divine intervention' for the death of 50 crore Indians.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag
