Kothth is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language political thriller film directed by Sibi Malayil and written by Hemanth Kumar.[1] It stars Asif Ali, Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles and features Roshan Mathew, Sudev Nair, Suresh Krishna and Vijilesh Karayad in supporting roles. Prasanth Raveendran handles the cinematography and Kailas Menon composes the original songs and background score.[2] Producer Ranjith and P. M. Sasidharan produce the film under the banner Gold Coin Motion Picture Company.[3]

Production
Principal photography of the film began on 10 October 2020 at Kozhikode following the COVID-19 protocols and safety measures. Kothth is actor Asif Ali's fourth collaboration with director Sibi Malayil after Apoorvaragam, Violin and Unnam.[3] The first schedule of the filming at Kozhikode was completed on 25 October 2020.[4]
