Mohan also known as Buddhivantha Mohan is a film producer who works predominantly in south Indian movies.
Early life
Mohan was born and brought up in Bangalore on 2nd April 1980. During his college days he was an active participant in local groups that were formed to protect the Kannada language in the city. He was a dynamic activist who was felicitated by the chief minister.
Career
Mohan started his career a as a film producer after completing education. He has produced movies under the banner Sai Shri Enterprises. His debut film was Om Ganesh starring Sai Kumar. The movie has J.G. Krisahna's cinematography, M.S. Ramesh's dialogs and K. Kalyan's lyrics. Story and screenplay by Daya. His next production Mohini was a horror movie. The movie created a different marketing strategy by providing a mobile number on every poster. When the phone number was dialed a ghost’s voice was heard by the people thus creating a buzz about the movie. After the huge success of Mohini, Mohan went on to produce a comedy movie Thipparhalli Tharlegalu starring Komal. Kanwarlal played the role of an NRI and they decide to bring about a change in the society through development projects. Buddhivantha was his fourth movie starring Upendra. The movie was an official remake of Nan avan illai. After the success of Buddhivantha Mohan produced an woman centric movie Priyanka starring Priyanka Upendra.
