Gorel (or Golel) is a village in Borsad Taluka, Anand district, in the state of Gujarat in India. This village was the birth place of infamous dacoit Babar Deva.[1] In the 2011 census, it had a population of 3,859 including 2,011 males and 1,848 females.[2] There were 525 children under the age of 6.[2]
