Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) is a Government Engineering College in the state of West Bengal. Is located in Kolkata, near the University of Rabindra Bharati and the Calcutta University Department of Economics. The college is affiliated to West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development, approved by UGC [1] The college offers Diploma Degrees in Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electronics & tele-Communication engineering, and Packaging technology & Science .
