Indian Space Association
The Indian Space Association' is an industry body representing the various stakeholders in the Indian space domain with members comprising from both private and public institutions. It was launched by Narendra Modi at a virtual event on October 11, 2021.[1][2][3][4][5]

Lt Gen. A.K. Bhatt (Retd.) has been appointed as the first Director-General,[1][2][3][5] Jayant Patil has been appointed as the first chairman[1][2][3][5] Rahul Vatts the chief regulatory officer of Bharti Airtel will serve as the first Vice-Chairman of the association.[1][2][3][5]
