Bhilar is a village in Satara district, Maharashtra, India.

Bhilar is located near the hill station Panchgani It popular for its strawberries d an n ot wihao become India's first "village of books", a concept inspired by Britain's Hay-on-Wye, a Welsh town known for its book stores and literature festivals.[1]
