K. D. Bhandari is a businessman turned politician in India and belongs to the ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). He was a member of Punjab Legislative Assembly and represented Jalandhar North.[1][2]
Family
His father's name is Chanan Ram. He has 3 children.[3]
Political career
Bhandari participated in student politics in 1980. He actively entered into politics in 2004 as a Councilor of Jalandhar Municipal Corporation.[4] He was first elected to Punjab Legislative Assembly from Jullundur North in 2007.[5] In 2012, he again from Jullundur North which was named to Jalandhar North. As of 2012, he is the Chief Parliamentary Secretary for Co-operation of the Punjab Government.[6][needs update]
