V.J. Philips was an Indian professional field hockey player. He was part of the India Hockey team that won bronze medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Philips was an outstanding winger for India in his time of Olympics in ,Munich 1972 than won bronze.Now is a part of Indian hockey team which won bronze in Tokyo olymics 2021.
