Nishant Shah
Nishant Shah(born; 26th oct 1976) is an Indian Entrepreneur, Chartered Accountant and futurist .[1][2] Shah was banker for over 20 years with Standard Chartered, Citibank and JPMorgan Chase, he has worked with Reserve Bank of India and several industry bodies on regulatory advocacy, banking policy formulation, macro-economic matters and international developments.[1][3]

Early Life
Born and brought up in Mumbai, Shah completed his early education in south Mumbai schools and colleges, obtaining his bachelor’s degree in commerce from HR College of Commerce and Economics[4]. He has led three major portfolios, including Head of Operating Risk, before taking over as Managing Partner of Jackstien Practices and Consulting in 2021.[5]
Career
- After a brief stint in J.M.Financial, Mr Nishant Shah entered the banking space with Citibank in 2001 working across operations, custody sales, business planning, control and compliance over a span of six years. He thereafter moved to Standard Chartered Bank to manage regulatory compliance in the complex global markets space before progressing on to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A.[2]
- Nishant Shah joined JPMorgan Chase as Vice President for regulatory compliance for global markets and derivatives.[3]
