Guru (Garo, Garuda, Garofalo and Gurda) is a community found mainly in western India in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.[1] They are the priests of Scheduled Castes in states of Gujarat and Rajasthan.[2][3]
