Introduction
Bhagirath Bhatt is a Sitarist & Music Composer based in Mumbai, India. He was born on 31/05/1991 in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Bhatt is an exceptionally talented Sitarist and has the experience of working with Legendary Oscar Winning Director A.R. Rahman. Currently he is working with Indian Music Reality show called Indian Idol as a Musician.
Early Life
He was born in a small town - Jamnagar, Gujarat on 31st May 1991. His Father Mr. Pankaj Kumar Bhatt is also a musician and Bhagirath was trained by his father himself till the age of 8. After that he was coached by Shree Chetan Bhai Shashtri for the next 5 years in his hometown itself.
When Bhatt turned 13, he moved to Mumbai for getting trained under Ustad Abdul Halif Jafer till he turned 17 year old. Ever since then he is horning his skills under Ustad Asad Jhan Ji who hails from Mewati Gharana.
