Virendra Singh is a Mumbai-based actor who mainly work in the Hindi television industry. He is known for acting in various Hindi television shows including Tere Liye (2010) and Dreamgirl (2015).
Early life
Singh was born and brought in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh in a family of educationists. His father M.D. Singh was the founder of Kalidas Montessori Higher Secondary School. His father wanted him to become I.A.S or M.B.A, but after completing his graduation he moved to Mumbai to pursue his career as an actor. Singh is married and has a son.
Career
After moving to Mumbai, he formed a theatre group "Kaarwan" and produced plays such as Andha Yug, Mistress of the Inn, Malbe Ka Malik, Kanjoos, Alibaba, Private Lives, Mouse Trap & Chanakyashastra. After doing small roles in serials like Vikram aur Betaal, Khazana, Sinhasan Battisi & Chunauti he got his first major break as the lead actor in Mujrim Haazir in 1989. Apart from acting he also worked as a ghost director and directed 13 episodes of television show Jag Hanse Khud Roye for DD national.
