Titas Sadhu


Titas Ranadeep Sadhu (born 29 September 2004) is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian women’s national cricket team and Bengal in domestic cricket. She was a part of the 2023 U19 Women’s T20 World Cup winning Indian team and was adjudged the player of the match in the final.[1]

Gold medal – first place 2022 Hangzhou Team

Sadhu made her WT20I debut on 24 September 2023 against Bangladesh at the 2022 Asian Games.[2] In the same tournament, she played a key role as a bowler in the gold medal match against Sri Lanka which was won by India.[3]

Early lifeEdit

Sadhu was born on 29 September 2004 in Chinsura, West Bengal.[4] At the age of 16, Sadhu was selected to play for the senior Bengal team.[5]

CareerEdit

Sadhu was awarded the player of the match in the final of inaugural U19 Women’s World Cup. In 2023 Women's Premier League, Sadhu was a part of the Delhi Capitals but did not play a match.[6] On 24 September 2023, she made her international debut for India against Bangladesh.
