Hum TV
Hum TV HD is a 24-hour Urdu general entertainment television channel located in Karachi, Pakistan. It was established by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi. The channel is owned by Hum Network Limited, which is publicly traded on the Pakistan Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol (HUMNL).

Hum Network Limited was previously known as Eye Television Network Limited until 21 January 2011. Hum TV commenced its transmission on 17 January 2005. In March 2013, the network held its inaugural Hum Awards ceremony. As of 1 May 2018, Hum TV discontinued its SD feed and transitioned to HD broadcasting in Pakistan. Hum TV is recognised as one of Pakistan's largest entertainment networks, consistently ranking among the top channels. It enjoys a devoted fanbase on social media across Pakistan, Bangladesh, and various streaming platforms, in addition to its television viewership.
HistoryEdit
The channel's drama series "Humsafar", which aired from 2011 to 2012, has become the most successful program in Hum TV's history, receiving widespread acclaim and international recognition. Its success led critics to describe Pakistani television as entering a "Golden Age".
At the inaugural Hum Awards ceremony, "Humsafar" was honored with the Hum Honorary Phenomenal Serial Award. Hum TV offers a diverse range of entertainment genres. While it primarily targets urban Pakistan, many of its current dramas are geared towards a teen and youth audience, alongside some serials that cater to a more mature urban demographic.
