Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language film starring Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty.[1] It is a romcom film written and directed by Mahesh Babu P. The movie is scheduled to release on 7 September 2023.[2]

Synopsis
Siddhu Polishetty, an aspiring stand-up comedian from Hyderabad, wants to be in a committed relationship. Anvitha Shetty is a chef who lives in London and is a feminist. She does not believe in love or relationships and wants to be single forever. However, she hopes to have a baby through IVF, but is not able to find a suitable donor in London. She comes back to Hyderabad in the hopes of finding a compatible donor. One day, she goes to the club where Siddhu performs his stand-up acts, along with her friend. Impressed with his progressive mindset about women and relationships, she decides to ask him to be her donor. However, Siddhu ends up falling in love with Anvitha, which she strongly opposes. What follows are a series of hilarious events; Will Siddhu change Anvitha's mindset about love? Will Anvitha reciprocate Siddhu's feelings?

Production
The film was produced by Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations.[3] It was revealed in March 2021 that the production company had discussed having Anushka star alongside Naveen in the film, which would be the tale of a 40-year-old woman who falls in love with a 25-year-old man. Later, the title of the film was revealed as Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty.[4][5] This film is a comeback film for Anushka Shetty to act as a lead after the films Bhaagamathie and Nishabdham.[6] The cinematography of the film was by Nirav Shah, and the editing was handled by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.[7] The trailer for the film was released on 21 August 2023.[8][9]
Release
The film was initially scheduled to be released on 4 August 2023, but it was postponed due to post-production delays.[10] It was later confirmed that the film will be released on 7 September 2023.[11]
Promotion
Naveen Polishetty appeared on Telugu reality-TV show Bigg Boss (Telugu season 7) for the promotion of this film.
Music
The songs for the film were composed by Radhan,[12] while the background score was composed by Gopi Sundar.
