Battle of Barari Ghat

Ahmad Shah Durrani on his fifth invasion was defeated by the Marathas and Sikhs in the Battle of Lahore (1759). At Barari Ghat, Afghans met Marathas under Dattaji Scindia in a battle at Barari Ghat, north of Delhi. The Marathas were defeated and their leader Dattaji was killed.
