Job Specifications: April 2014 till date: Administrator:- Eklavya Model Residential School, The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, Under Article 275(1) of the Constitution, sanctioned 100 Residential Schools. The Arunachal Schools are registered under a Registered Society viz Arunachal Pradesh Residential and Educational Institution Welfare Society (APREIWS). The schools are being set up with the Basic Objective of Quality Education so as to ensure all round development of the children of Tribal societies, Poor background and first generation students. In affirmation to the Guidelines, the State Level Steering committee of APREIWS decided to hand over these schools to the Committed Volunteers NGOs. Commissioner (Education), Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar had approved the handing over of the EKLAVYA MODEL RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL AT LUMLA in TAWANG District to the Art of Living Arunachal Pradesh (AOLAP). Academics, Extra Curriculum activities, Sport & Games, Vocational Training, Agriculture & Animal Husbandry, etc are part of School activities. 2014-15 shall see a start with the 6th standard, a total of 60 students, 30 of boys and girls each.
