Parameters

parent (required) – the parent category (without the prefix "Category:")
specific (optional) – replaces the name of the parent category in the second sentence

This is a non-diffusing subcategory of Category:American film actors.
It includes American film actors that can also be found in the parent category, or in diffusing subcategories of the parent.
