Phoeniconaias minor

State bird of Junagadh

The Lesser flamingo (Phoeniconaias minor) is a species of flamingo occurring in sub-Saharan Africa, southern Pakistan and western India.^[1] Birds are occasionally reported from further north, but these are generally considered vagrants. It was the state bird of Junagadh State.
