Introduction[edit]
Joshua Dove Heatherington, born on September 22nd 1993, in Wheeling, West Virginia, has made quite a name for himself as a young hip hop artist. From a very early age, he was inclined towards the hip hop genre and found his sense of peace and joy in music.[1] As a result, he has completely immersed himself in the world of music and is driven by his aim to create waves as a hip hop artist, where today is famously known as JoshfromYNC.[2]
Early life[edit]
Joshua studied at Wheeling Park High School and went to college for business and marketing, graduating in the year 2012. He acquired his stage name JoshfromYNC; however, he started off as a sports player in the Ohio Valley. Baseball always fascinated him, and he loved playing the sport. His favourite baseball team is PITTSBURGH Pirates, while his favourite hockey team is Pittsburgh Penguins and football team is New England Patriots. He recollects how as a child, he loved watching WWF wrestling with his family and absolutely loved watching his favourite wrestlers Stone Cold & The Rock, on stage. Highlighting some of his favourite things in life, Joshua says his favourite movie is Two Fast Two Furious, and he loves the Lamborghini car. His favourite radio show is In The Morning on Shade 45, and his favourite tv show as a kid was Scooby-Doo.[3]
Innovation[edit]
JoshfromYNC loves to wear YNC chains and also has a YouTube channel with his stage name and a website where people can find his music (http://www.yncmusic.com/index.html). Joshua Heatherington has done it all from being on BET Jams, Tales On BET, celebrity boxing,MTV jams, BET Soul, VH1, Growing Up Hip Hop New York Reality TV, Love N Hip Hop Atlanta, to Growing Up Hip Hop LA, Shade 45, Hot 97, Power 105, This Is 50, Hip-HopNation on Sirius XM radio, inside the XXL Magazine, The Source Magazine Worldstar, Say Cheese TV, etc.[4] His song was played by Snoop Dogg on his TV show GGN Network.As a young hip hop artist from the US, he continuously innovates as an artist, which has resulted in him connecting with listeners and music lovers by creating uniqueness in his music.[5]
