Thongalel

"Leinung Thongalel" (Old Manipuri: ꯂꯩꯅꯨꯡ ꯊꯣꯡꯉꯥꯂꯦꯜ), also spelt as "Khamnung Thongaren" (Meitei: ꯈꯝꯅꯨꯡ ꯊꯣꯡꯉꯥꯔꯦꯟ), is the god of the death and the ruler of the underworld (Khamnung) in Meitei mythology and religion. He is the consort of Laikhurembi. He is equivalent to Yama of Hindu mythology.
