Neelu Mishra

Neelu Mishra is a track and field Indian athlete from Varanasi, India.[1] Despite suffering from kidney failure since childhood, she has won more than 28 national medals for India,[2] including several gold medals.[3] In 2020, Neelu was honored with the Rani Lakshmi Bai Bravery Award from the Akhilesh-led government in Uttar Pradesh.[4]
Career
She began her career at the 18th World Masters Athletic Championship in Lahti, Finland. She was awarded the Marvellous Personality of India award by Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Ram Naik in 2017.[5][6]
