Bhayānaka (Sanskrit: भयानक, Bhayānaka) is one of the nine rasas, usually translated as fear. Rasa means "flavour", and the theory of rasa is the primary concept behind classical Indian arts, including theatre, music, dance, poetry, and even sculpture.
