Hi Uw-substAFD. When nominating an article for deletion, please remember to substitute the template like this: {{subst:Article for deletion}} according to the instructions found at WP:AFDHOWTO. Autoconfirmed registered users can also use the Twinkle tool to make nominations. This way we assure the inclusion of the hidden text that enables the javascript most often used for closing AfD discussions to remove the {{Article for deletion}} template from the article. Thank you.

Usage:
{{subst:Uw-substAFD}}{{subst:Uw-substAFD|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-substAFD|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-substAFD||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-substAFD|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article

- Please remember to substitute the template using
{{subst:Uw-substAFD}}rather than{{Uw-substAFD}}. - To give greater detail to your message, you may add the article and some additional text to the end of the template. 1=" if the article contains an equals sign and use "2=" if the additional text contains an equals sign (such as a URL). - This template automatically populates the relevant category with the user page.
