Pratik Gauri ( born 17 October 1990) is an Indian social entrepreneur, public speaker, investor, writer, and founder of 8 start-ups creating 5th Industrial Revolution[1]. He also serves as the India President of 5th Element Group, a global impact management consultancy based in USA. Gauri has garnered numerous accolades and was awarded the "Creative Entrepreneur of the Year' in the startup category by Entrepreneur India in 2020.[2]
Early life
Pratik Gauri was born on 17 October 1990 and grew up in Delhi, India.[3] He attended primary and secondary school in India and earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade in 2016. He also holds a certificate in strategic management from the University of Chicago.[4]
Career
Gauri started his career at an early age and worked with Fortune 500 companies including Reckitt Benckiser. He joined TATA Group in 2016 and held several executive positions. While working at TATA, he got aspired to become an entrepreneur.[5] Gauri launched his first start-up when he was just sixteen years old, and since then he has founded 8 start-ups in the 5IR Space championing United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.[6]
Gauri is the India President of 5th Element Group, a global impact management consultancy, Global Youth Lead of Dream Tank, a social impact accelerator and think tank for children, co-founder of Let's Do This, Alt Ctrl (a blockchain-based platform), #LetsGoSocial, India Needs You (a leadership movement), GlasTic.[7]
Gauri has travelled to 26 countries and has received more than 10 awards.[8] He has represented India at prestigious convenings like World Economic Forum in Davos, Skoll World Forum in Oxford, Nobel Peace Prize Forum in Oslo, and United Nations in New York. He also won Gold at the UNLEASH innovation lab for SDGs in China.[9]
As a writer, he has contributed to Real Leaders, World Economic Forum, MIT Technology Review.[10]
