Snabbit is an Indian on-demand home services platform operated by Maestroedge Solutions Private Limited.[2] Founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal, the platform provides rapid domestic assistance—including routine cleaning, dishwashing, laundry, and kitchen tasks—with service professionals arriving within 10 to 15 minutes of booking.[3][4]

History

Snabbit was founded in 2024 by Aayush Agarwal,[5] a former executive at grocery delivery company Zepto.[4] The startup applied the operational concepts of quick commerce to India's fragmented domestic help market, deploying verified and uniformed service workers directly through a hyperlocal network.[6]

Between 2025 and 2026, the company underwent rapid institutional fundraising:

  • In mid-2025, Snabbit raised $19 million in a Series B round to expand across 200 micro-markets in Indian metropolitan clusters.[7]
  • In late 2025, the company secured a $30 million Series C round at an estimated valuation of $180 million.[8][9]
  • In April 2026, Snabbit closed a $56 million Series D round backed by Susquehanna VC, Mirae Asset Venture Investments, and Bertelsmann India Investments, taking total funds raised to $112 million at an estimated valuation of $360 million.[2][10]

Business model and financials

Snabbit operates on an hourly, on-demand pricing structure rather than monthly maid contracts, catering to domestic absenteeism and emergency household needs.[4][3] The company maintains a hyperlocal supply model, stationing workers close to dense residential clusters to achieve 10-minute dispatch times.[6]

For the fiscal year 2026 (FY26), Snabbit reported ₹12.25 crore in operating revenue and a net loss of approximately ₹168 crore, having spent roughly ₹16 for every ₹1 earned due to rapid customer acquisition, worker fulfillment costs, and aggressive market expansion.[11][12] During the same fiscal year, the company's daily completed jobs expanded from 500 to over 35,000, eventually crossing 40,000 daily jobs across 140 micro-markets.[12][2] The company also offers instant salon-at-home services.[13]

Operations and worker safety

Snabbit utilizes a predominantly female workforce for its core domestic services.[2] To address worker safety concerns in the residential gig economy, the company's partner application ("Snabbit Expert") integrates an SOS emergency safety feature utilizing the Android Accessibility Service, enabling workers to discreetly trigger distress alerts via the device's physical volume keys without unlocking the screen.[14][15] The company was criticised for selling mandatory branded t-shirts to its gig workforce.[16]
