Founded in 2007 by Pulkit Gaur with mission of using robots where humans can't go. A mechanical engineering graduate from Jodhpur, who had his career with Union home ministry, BARC, National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Indian Navy, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, ISRO, and the Gujarat Police.In 2011, Pulkit Gaur was declared Innovator of the Year by the MIT Technology Review.[1]
Products[edit]
Gridbot has portfolio of robotics, AI and vision products. In 2011, Gridbots unveiled submersible robots— SaUsR(smart automation underwater service robot) for cleaning tanks at a nuclear facility.[1] In 2014, Stinger robot was unveiled which remove wood log stuck in high-pressure pipe in a powerplant.[2] In 2023, Gridbots showcased TITAN - Autonomous Tank Killer with Amogha-III as payload with collaboration of Bharat Dynamics[3] In 2025, HITMAN was trailed by the company, this advanced unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) features level 5 autonomy.[4]
