Ethir Kaatru (transl. Headwind) is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language thriller film, directed by Muktha S. Sundar and produced by Muktha Srinivasan. The film stars Karthik and Kanaka. It was released on 7 December 1990.[1] The film is based on the Malayalam film Artham, which is in turn based on the Tamil novel Ethir Kaatru, written by Subha.[2]
