Avesh Khan (born 13 December 1996) is an Indian international cricketer.[2] In December 2015 he was named in India's squad for the 2016 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.[3] He made his international debut for the Indian cricket team in February 2022.

A right-arm fast-medium bowler, he's mainly known for his pace, able to maintain speed at around 145kph while his fastest delivery has been measured at 149kph.[4]

Domestic career

He made his Twenty20 debut for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2017 Indian Premier League on 14 May 2017.[5] In January 2018, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 IPL auction.[6] He made his List A debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 5 February 2018.[7]

He was the leading wicket-taker for Madhya Pradesh in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, with 35 dismissals in seven matches.[8] In October 2019, he was named in India C's squad for the 2019–20 Deodhar Trophy.[9]
