Introducing our newest endeavor, the "User of the Month" project. In this exciting initiative, we've devised a novel way to identify and celebrate our top users. By diligently tracking their contributions, we will be evaluating each user's edit score – a cumulative measure of their invaluable edits and enhancements to our platform's content. The "User of the Month" title will be awarded to the individual with the highest edit score each month, recognizing their exceptional dedication and commitment to improving the quality of our community's resources.
With the "User of the Month" project, we aim to nurture a sense of healthy competition, promote knowledge-sharing, and strengthen the bond among our users, all while empowering BharatMedia Foundation to express our gratitude with a well-deserved monthly reward for the standout contributor.
Conditions
- Account Requirement: Only registered users with valid and active accounts on our platform will be eligible for consideration. Anonymous edits or contributions made without an account will not be counted towards the "User of the Month" evaluation.
- Manual Edits Only: The project will consider only manual edits made directly by users. Automated or bot-generated edits will not be included in the calculation of the edit score.
- Scoring Formula: The edit score for each user will be determined using the following formula: Score = (Number of Unique Pages Edited) + 2 * √((Number of Edits) - (Number of Unique Pages Edited)). This formula rewards users for editing a diverse range of pages while also accounting for the frequency of their contributions.
