The Pale-flowered Lily, Turanian fritillary, Türkic Bactrian Lily, or the Uyghür Aigul (Fritillaria pallidiflora) is an Asian species of bulbous flowering plant in the lily family Liliaceae, native to East Türkestan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.[1][2]
The Latin specific epithet pallidiflora means “pale flowered”.[3] Although the common name frequently used is Siberian fritillary, a misnomer because the species does not grow in the wild in Siberia.
Within Turkistan it is the National flower of East Türkestan.
