Limes

Lime is a yellowish green colour. It is the colour that is half way between the colour chartreuse green and yellow on the colour wheel.[1] The colour lime is named after the fruit, lime.

  1. Maerz and Paul A Dictionary of Colour New York:1930 McGraw-Hill; The index refers to Plate 20 Colour Sample J1 as Lime Green; this colour is shown on Plate 20 as being halfway between yellow-green (the old name for the colour that is now called chartreuse green) and yellow on the colour wheel.
