The Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (MULTA) is an Islamist extremist organization founded around 1996 in the North-east Indian state of Assam. MULTA wants Muslims to be represented is the state government legislature.^[1] It has about 1000 members who have declared a jihad against the Indian Government.^[1]
