Vaishakan from bad experiences in his personal life has become disillusioned, embittered, anti-authoritarian and misogynistic and does not care much about his life. His fellow professor, Venu (Lalu Alex) an old friend who hasn't seen him in some time, encourages him to give up his alcoholism and pursue a stable family life.
