Production[edit | edit source]

The film was released on 10 May 1991.

MGR's unfinished film in 1977 Nallathai Naadu Kekum directed by M. Karnan was incorporated into a totally new plot, resulting into this film.

The MGR footage includes few scenes.

When this film went out, MGR had died, for a little less than four years.

It is a posthumous film for MGR. (The second).

There is an extract[4] of 9 minutes and 48 seconds, on the social networks, where we see MGR, together with the actress Bathma Priya, then with the actor S. V. Subbaiah, concerning him (it) the shoulders, unconscious.

It would seem that MGR is one more time a heroic character, a thief and a lover of the girl (Padma Priya) of a police officer (S. V. Subbaiah), who apparently wants to arrest him.
