Mahakavi Kalidas (transl. The great poet, Kalidas) is a 1966 Indian Tamil language film produced and directed by R. R. Chandran, starring Sivaji Ganesan.[2] The film is based on the legends of the poet Kalidasa.[3] It was released on 19 August 1966.[4]
